It starts with where and how it's grown. Our calrose premium white rice is California-sourced, non-GMO, and actually tastes like something — clean, fluffy, and consistent every time.
Rice Cooker: Set It & Forget It
1. Rinse rice until water runs mostly clear.
2. Add rice + water at a 1:1 ratio to the cooker.
3. Let it soak for 20 mins.
4. Hit start and cook.
5. Once done, steam (lid on) for 15 mins.
6. Fluff & feast.
Stovetop: The Classic Way
1. Rinse rice until water runs mostly clear.
2. Add rice + water at a 1:1.125 ratio (or ~1 cup rice : 1¼ cups water).
3. Let it soak for 20 mins.
4. Bring to a boil, then low heat + cover for ~35 mins. No peeking.
5. Remove from heat and steam 15 mins.
6. Fluff & feast.
